If you’ve ever self-assembled furniture or home electronics, you know the value of a good instruction manual— it’s not always easy to get from concept to completion.
That’s why we’re strong believers in implementation strategies. An implementation strategy or action plan lays out the recommended actions that various stakeholders such as developers, city and other public agencies, nonprofits, and others; should take in order to realize the plan, along with priorities, timing, partner actions, estimated cost, and other key information about each action.
They provide momentum for those charged with implementing plans to move from planning to doing.
